Police say a man who was struck by a train at Bethesda Metro station Tuesday afternoon had a medical condition that caused the fall.
Crews arrived on the scene around 5 p.m.
The man was reported to be conscious and breathing by an emergency crew, and Pete Piringer with Montgomery County Fire said the victim appeared to have fallen on the tracks before being hit by the train.

The accident caused minor delays on the Red Line.
