A Northeast D.C. man has been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of another man in Southeast early Sunday morning.
David Allen Shepherd, 48, has been charged with Murder One while Armed in the killing of 32-year-old Henry Charles Miller.
Officers on foot patrol discovered Miller in the 1100 block of Chicago Street, Southeast at around 1 a.m. Sunday. Miller, who was suffering from gunshot wounds, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Shepherd was arrested a short time later in the 1400 block of Brentwood Parkway, Northeast.
