A lost dog that was running out of time at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter will be reunited with his owners.
The Shiba Inu nicknamed Foxy at the shelter was found in Prince George’s County, Md., but turned over to animal control in Fairfax County, Va., making it more difficult to locate his owners.
Foxy’s real name is Jake, and his rescuer found him a half-mile from his Upper Marlboro home.
