When you buy a car, most states have a lemon law designed to protect you, but when it comes to used cars, the News4 Consumer Watch found a lemon law loophole that could cost you thousands of dollars.
Consumer Watch looked at lemon laws in D.C. and Virginia and learned D.C. doesn't cover used cars and Virginia covers used cars only in certain situations.
