Smith-Schuster brings back TikTok dances after Steelers win AFC North originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
The Pittsburgh Steelers are AFC North champions and JuJu Smith-Schuster is back to dancing.
Following the Steelers win over the Colts on Sunday, the wide receiver posted a video of his latest TikTok, which featured him and his teammates dancing to the song "Adderall (Corvette Corvette)" by Pop Hunna.
Why is this news? Well, over the past few weeks, Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has been in the headlines, and it's had nothing to do with his play on the field.
In 2020, as many others have, Smith-Schuster turned to TikTok -- a video app that consists largely of quick dances -- to grow his platform. Throughout Pittsburgh's season, the pass-catcher has been posting videos of him dancing to the song above on the opposing team's logo prior to games.
However, Smith-Schuster stated earlier this week that he would stop that, as it had become a question his teammates and coaches were being asked about during the team's three-game losing streak and he preferred his peers not deal with any distractions.
Now it appears the dance is back, though this is in a different context. It comes after the game in the locker room as a celebration for his team earning the division title.
Smith-Schuster did note that judgments from the media and opposing players aren't going to stop him from having fun. With the Steelers ending a losing streak and wrapping up the AFC North, he's doing just that.
