Johns Hopkins: Census Records Show Founder Owned Enslaved People

The Washington Post reported Wednesday Johns Hopkins – the man who left millions to establish a hospital, university and orphanage – held enslaved people as property, according to “newly unearthed census records.” News4’s Wendy Rieger spoke with one of the reporters who helped break the story, Education Reporter Lauren Lumpkin.
