A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a murder in Suitland, Maryland, Prince George’s County police said.
Police responded to the report of a shooting at the 2700 block of Sweetwater Court, about 5:35 pm. When they arrived, they found Jamal Allen, 20, inside a car suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Davonte Denzel McKissick of Southeast Washinton was taken into custody Thursday night. Police arrested 19-year-old Jawaun Anthony Nelson of the 6100 block of Hil Mar Drive in Suitland Wednesday night.
Both are charged with first degree murder and will be extradicted to Prince George's County.
Detectives do not believe the shooting was random, police said.
