UPDATE: Laurel Police say the student who reported being threatened made a false report. She was arrested and charged.

Laurel High School was placed on lockdown for an investigation into a gun threat Thursday morning
A female student at the school reported that another female student threatened to harm her with gun.
Officers responded to the school around 8:15 a.m. to investigate. After a sweep of the school, no threat was discovered.
At 9 a.m., officers began to clear from the scene.
