Overheated Circuit Causes Delays on Metro's Red Line

A circuit overheated near the Red Line’s Medical Center Metro Station caused some delays Monday morning, a WMATA official said. Trains are single-tracking between Medical Center and the Grosvernor-Strathmore Metro Station.

Metro restored normal service by 3 p.m. on the Red Line following single-tracking between Medical Center and Grosvenor due to repairs to a circuit.
