An adult pedestrian is dead after a vehicle hit them along Richmond Highway Thursday morning, police say.
Police said that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene in Fort Hunt, Virginia. The incident is still under investigation.
Southbound of Richmond Highway was closed Thursday morning because of the investigation.
