Historic Black Church Gets New Funding to Rebuild After Arson

During one of the recent marches for racial justice and equality a Virginia politician had an idea to support a local historically black church. Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gainesville was intentionally set on fire nearly a decade ago and has struggled to raise enough money to rebuild. Northern Virginia Bureau Reporter Drew Wilder shows the current national dialogue is breathing new life into rebuilding the church.
