4 Men Injured in 3 Shootings in D.C.

Within the span of two-and-a-half-hours, four men were shot in three shootings in D.C. Wednesday afternoon.

Two men were shot about 2 p.m. in the 4200 block of Fourth Street SE. When officers arrived at the scene, both were conscious and taken to a hospital.

There are no suspects at this time.

An hour later, police responded to a second shooting five minutes away from the Children’s National Medical Center.

A man was found shot in the 600 block of Columbia Road NW about 3 p.m.

Police are looking for two people. One is described as a Hispanic man armed with a silver gun and the other as a black man with dreadlocks. Both were wearing all black clothing. They were last seen running on foot from the scene. 

Less than a mile away, a third shooting happened in the 600 block of Park Road NW.

Police found a man shot but conscious and breathing.

They are searching for three people. All are black men. The first is described as a 20-to-25 year old wearing blue jeans and a blue jacket with red stripes. The second is wearing a brown Polo and green jacket. Police did not provide any description for the third man. 

There are no motives for any of the shootings at this time.
