More than 10 pounds of drugs and various weapons were seized from a home in Fairfax County Thursday after the arrest of four alleged gang members.
According to police, the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force investigated the men and their illegal activities for five months. Officers arrested Kyu Hong, 19, Inzamam Abbasi, 19, Zu Chiang, 20, and Boubacar Sow, 18 Thursday at a home in the 6400 block of Rockshire Street.
There, police found more than 10 pounds of marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy, along with thousands of dollars. Officers also found several fire arms including an M-4 rifle an an AR 15.
Officials say the four men were part of a subset of the gang, operating in the D.C. region.
The men are facing the following charges:
- Hong: felony possession of marijuana and cocaine
- Abbasi: possession of a firearm while distributing more than 1 pound of marijuana, possession of ammunition by a felon, possession of MDMA, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Chang: possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Sow: possession of firearm while distributing more than one pound of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana greater than 5 pounds, maintain a common nuisance
