Seven Prince George’s County firefighters were injured after their truck overturned early Sunday morning.
A representative said officers responded to Branch Avenue and Curtis Drive in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, for the accident. Seven people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The representative said the truck apparently swerved to avoid another vehicle in the road. The road was closed to clear the fire truck from the roadway, but has been open for a while now.
Investigators are unsure about the circumstances prior to the accident.
