Ex-officer accused of killing man at Tysons Corner goes on trial

The trial of Wesley Shifflett, a former Fairfax County police officer, continues today after he was accused of shooting and killing an unarmed man accused of shoplifting in February 2023. Opening arguments could start today after jury selection is complete. News4’s Joseph Olmo reports.
