Senior Citizen Sex Assault Victims Speak Out

Police Search for Rape Suspect in Germantown

Two women who were viciously attacked in Montgomery County are sharing their experience in an effort to bring their attacker to justice.

In an attempt to cope and take her life back, an 87-year-old alleged rape victim who uses a walker to get around, wrote this poem.

“The title is "Hell."

"I did not think I believed in you,” read the 87-year-old victim. “But now I do.”

Police said she was sexually assaulted in August in her Germantown nursing home by a man who is still on the loose. But police say she isn’t the only senior citizen victim.

Neither women wanted their identities revealed, but both spoke out because they want these sexual attacks to stop.

“I am determined to do everything I can to see to it this arrogant little twerp doesn’t get away with it,” said the other victim, who is 69 years old.

The 69-year-old says she was attacked by the same man, not once but twice -- first in June and again in January.

“The second time, he came into my bedroom window feet first but as soon as he hit the ground and we looked at each other we knew,” the victim said. “I probably said something like, 'You again.'”

Police said all three attacks happened in the early morning hours after the suspect climbed through the victim’s first floor windows. Police believe he knows the area because both women lived across the street near Father Hurley Boulevard and Beaconfield Terrace.

“Really he should turn himself in and stop this, otherwise the next little old lady he breaks in on may have a gun under her pillow,” said the 69-year-old victim.

Montgomery County police said this case has been so difficult to solve because there aren't enough people coming forward with information.

A reward of up to $5,000 is offered in the case.
