Children to Create Outdoor Classroom in Honor of Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day 2016, 600 children and volunteers will gather at Ketcham Elementary School in Anacostia to build a brand new beautiful outdoor classroom in honor of Earth Day. The master of getting this kind of garden off the ground — or rather, IN the ground — is April Martin, the regional director of the non-profit Real School Gardens.
