A heavy police and ambulance response was reported along the Maryland Intercounty Connector (ICC) around 3 p.m. Tuesday after a reported shooting.
Accoring to Mark Brady with Prince George's County Fire and EMS, first responders got a call for shots fired along the ICC near Interstate 95.
Two men driving in a tree removal service truck were struck; a window in their vehicle was shattered by the shots, but both men are expected to be OK. One was injured by flying glass and another man went uninjured when a bullet lodged in his clothing.
"They're both completely shaken," their co-worker Gary Cooper said. "They were coming back to the shop, they were driving along and they were shot at ... they were just emotionally whipped, I think."
Brady said the incident remains under investigation.
Spencer reports the shots likely originated from the wooded area near the highway.
