DC officials confirm 6 unplanned 911 outages this year

News4 reported last week that a D.C. family says they couldn’t get through to 911 after their five-month-old wouldn’t wake up from a nap. The baby died as firefighters asked for additional help. It’s not clear whether faster help could have saved the baby.
