DC Mother on Hunger Strike in Plea for Answers About Son's Death

A D.C. mother who lost her son is turning her pain into a one-woman movement. Dannielle Brown’s son, Marquis Brown, died in 2018 after police say he jumped out of his 16th-floor dorm room window at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Brown has been on a hunger strike for 50 days in her effort to get more information about what happened to her son. She says authorities and the university have kept her in the dark about his death investigation. News4’s Cory Smith reports.
