DC Group Uses Art to Bond Isolated Boys With Mentors

Life Pieces to Masterpieces helps African American boys from Wards 7 and 8 succeed in school, deal with emotions and trauma in a healthy way, and provides support with food and cleaning supplies to their families. The group views art as a life-saving tool for self-expression for the boys they serve, and are using it to stay bonded while quarantined from each other. News4’s Justin Finch reports.
