DC agrees to give SNAP benefits additional funding

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser gave in to pressure from councilmembers and advocacy groups to use nearly $40 million of surplus funds to increase Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits for about 140,000 D.C. residents. News4’s Mark Segraves reports.
