DC Affordable Housing Building Gets Solar Panels, ‘Resilience Center'

A nearly 100-year-old building in Columbia Heights now has solar panels on its roof and a “resilience center,” which provides power in case of a blackout. News4’s Chris Gordon reports low-income residents at the building will save between $40 to $50 on their power bills every month thanks to the solar panels.
