Chevy Chase teen is Maryland's first-ever Youth Poet Laureate

Tara Prakash, 18, went from being Montgomery County’s Youth Poet Laureate to being Maryland’s first Youth Poet Laureate, combining her love for creative writing and service. She created an organization called Write to Right to teach creative writing to local students and incarcerated adults as a tool for social justice. News4’s Molette Green reports.
