Domestic Violence Victims Seek Changes to Law
There are more murder cases caused by domestic violence in Prince George’s County than in other parts of of Maryland. Wednesday, lawmakers including Rep. Anthony Brown, abuse survivors and advocates met to talk about much-needed changes to federal laws. One of those survivors was Mildred Mohammed, the wife of to D.C. sniper John Mohammed; and she spoke to Prince George’s County Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins about the changes to the law that she’d like to see happen.
