Police have identified the man who was found stabbed to death Monday afternoon on a school playground in Seabrook, Maryland.
The body of 24-year-old Douglas Reyes was found near a basketball court at Gaywood Elementary School, on the 6700 block of 97th Avenue, Prince George's County police said. Police received a relevant call about 4 p.m., Officer Michael Owen said.
The victim had been in the area with others before the stabbing, Owen said.
"We have strong suspect leads," he said. "We're talking to witnesses."
A man who also identified himself as Douglas Reyes visited the scene Monday night and said he was worried after his adult son, who has disabilities, went missing Monday afternoon.
"Some people might want to steal something from him -- think that he has money or cellphone or something," Reyes said. "He has his cell phone -- he's not answering."
Police have not released any further information about the incident.
