Ashburn Substitute Teacher Accused of Being Drunk at School

A substitute teacher in Loudoun County is charged with being drunk in public, after appearing to be intoxicated on the first day of classes.

An Ashburn substitute teacher was charged with being drunk in public Monday.

The Loudon Sheriff's Office says school personnel contacted them after Jacqueline J. Barnes, 50, appeared to be intoxicated when she arrived at Stone Hill Middle School in Ashburn.
