D.C. police have released new video believed to show the suspects who assaulted a man outside the Washington Hilton.
The group approached a man outside the hotel on Connecticut Avenue about 1 a.m. July 14, then someone pointed at the victim and said, "that's him," according to a police report.
After exchanging words, the man was attacked by a group of teens, according to police. He suffered head injuries and a swollen eye.
In the new video, the suspects are seen walking around and getting onto an elevator. The video shows a clearer view of some of the suspects' faces.
Two arrests have been made in the attack: A 15-year-old girl from Northwest D.C. was charged with simple assault, and a 17-year-old boy from Southeast D.C. was charged with aggravated assault, police said.
