Photo Backlash Follows Northam Months Later
Protesters rallied at a campaign event for Virginia state Sen. Dave Marsden where Gov. Ralph Northam was scheduled to attend. The protest comes months after a black face scandal rocked the state, when a racist photo appeared in a yearbook from Northam’s medical school years. News4’s Derrick Ward reports.
