Duron Hudson, 18, was in the shower Friday morning when U.S. Marshals tried to detain him and he was able to slip away, police sources told News4. He jumped out of a window, a federal official said.
Hours later, Hudson is still on the loose and should be considered a threat, according to Brian Kim of the U.S. Marshals Service's fugitive task force.
"We do consider him armed and dangerous," Kim said at a news conference Friday afternoon.
Anyone who sees Hudson is asked to call 911 immediately.
A shelter-in-place order was in effect from about 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. for homes near Sheriff Road, Belle Haven Drive, Barlowe Road, Dutch Village Drive and Village Green Drive.

Hudson is wanted in Washington, D.C., on charges of first-degree murder while armed. He allegedly fled on Friday from a home in the 1900 block of Belle Haven Drive without wearing any clothes, Prince George's County police said.
He jumped out of a window and was able to escape U.S. Marshals, Kim said.
County police said it's possible that Hudson may have since found clothing.
Chopper4 footage from over the scene showed officers searching the area with at least one K-9. Some streets were lined with police cars and others were blocked. Chopper4 was asked to leave the area after flying over the search.
Hudson is accused of shooting and killing 22-year-old George Hendrix, of Southeast D.C. Police say they found Hendrix in the 300 block of K Street SE on June 22, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Hendrix was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
It appears that Hudson was identified as a suspect after police reviewed dramatic surveillance footage of a man pulling out a gun and pointing it.
D.C. police are offering a $25,000 reward in the case.
Hudson was previously arrested in an assault case.
