People on a fishing boat in southern Maryland made a big catch on the Potomac River Thursday evening.
They reeled in an 8-foot bull shark near Coltons Point in St. Mary's County.
Bull sharks can grow to be 11-and-a-half-feet long and weigh as much as 500 pounds. They're typically found along coastlines but can thrive in fresh water.
