A 7-month-old baby who was missing for three days has been found safe, D.C. police say.
Nehemiah Hansford was reported missing Wednesday. Police say his mother asked 23-year-old Nettina Thomas to watch him two days earlier, but Thomas never returned him at the time the mother provided.
As police and cadets searched for Hansford and Thomas Thursday, investigators learned that Hansford had been located at the 6th District police station.
The baby was being taken to a medical center for a complete examination.
The MPD Youth & Family Services Division is investigating.
No further information has been released.
