One man was shot and killed and two others were shot and wounded late Tuesday in Forestville, Maryland, authorities say.
Diontre Mackall, of D.C., was the man killed, Prince George’s County police said. He was 20 years old.
Officers responded to the 3100 block of Lakehurst Avenue, near the Penn Mar Shopping Center, at about 10:05 p.m. Mackall was found with gunshot wounds inside a home. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
A second man had a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening. He was taken to a hospital. A third man was grazed by a bullet and treated on the scene, police said.
Officers were still investigating at about 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, seven hours after the shooting. No information was immediately released on a suspect or possible motive.
Anyone with potentially relevant information is asked to contact police. A reward of up to $25,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
