Man Fatally Stabbed, Another Hurt Inside DC Nightclub Barcode

A 29-year-old man was fatally stabbed and another man was hurt inside a downtown D.C. nightclub early Monday.

No arrests have been made yet in the double stabbing at Barcode, a popular nightclub located in the 1100 block of 17th Street NW, not far from the Farragut North Metro station.

It took place about midnight during a fight, police said. Two men were rushed to local hospitals.

One of the victims, Robinson Pal of Riverdale, Maryland, died at the hospital, D.C. police said. The other victim was in stable condition as of early Monday afternoon.

Police have not said what may have led to the fight.

Pal was scheduled to fly to California Tuesday for a vacation before starting a new job.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 202-727-9099 or text an anonymous tip to 50411.
