NBC4 is pleased to announce three special guests who will be at the 2015 NBC4 Health & Fitness Expo this weekend at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Meredith Vieira
Meredith Vieira is the host of her own nationally syndicated daytime show, titled “The Meredith Vieira Show,” which airs weekdays at 1 p.m. on NBC4.
The 14-time Emmy Award winner previously served as a co-anchor and special correspondent for NBC News and Sports programming, contributing to “Today,” “NBC Nightly News” and the Olympics.
Vieira won two Daytime Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Game Show Host” for the nationally syndicated game show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” and holds the record for hosting more episodes of a game show than any other woman in history.
From 1997 to 2006, Vieira served as moderator of ABC’s “The View.” In 1993, she started at ABC as chief correspondent of “Turning Point.” Prior to her work at ABC, Vieira spent more than a decade at CBS News, where she garnered five Emmy Awards for her work on the news magazines “60 Minutes” and “West 57th.”
Vieira is involved with several charitable organizations, including the New York chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, for which she is on the Board of Directors, and the Alzheimer’s Association and the Children’s Miracle Network.

Cynthia Bailey
Supermodel Cynthia Bailey, known for her role on the "Real Housewives of Atlanta," resides in Atlanta with her 15-year-old daughter, Noelle, and husband, Peter. The Alabama-born beauty moved to New York City over 25 years ago to pursue her dream of modeling. Her first booking was the cover of Essence magazine, but that was only the beginning.
Bailey has had an enviable career, from walking in Fashion Week runway shows in Paris and Milan to starring in a movie opposite Sandra Bernhardt and guest-starring roles on The Cosby Show.
Bailey is still a successful and in-high-demand model. With The Bailey Agency School of Fashion dominating many hours of her day, she continues to seek out and inspire Atlanta’s most promising talent.
Bailey will be doing a Q&A on the Demo Stage from 11:30 a.m. to noon Sunday. Guests will be able to meet her after the session.
Michelle Singletary
Singletary is a nationally syndicated columnist for The Washington Post. Her column, “The Color of Money” is an award-winning column now carried in more than 100 newspapers.
She is the author of three books, “Spend Well, Live Rich: How to Live Well With the Money You Have “Your Money and Your Man: How You and Prince Charming Can Spend Well and Live Rich” and the recently published “The Power to Prosper: 21 Days to Financial Freedom.”
Singletary has done shows and financial segments for PBS, ABC, TV One, and is currently a contributor to NPR’s “Talk of the Nation” and MSNBC. She has prepared personal finance segments for local and national news programs, and for a number of network and nationally syndicated programs, including “Oprah,” “NBC’s Today Show,” CNN, and “Tavis Smiley” on PBS.
