"Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" star Mariska Hargitay was back in the hospital today "after experiencing some discomfort" stemming from an on-going lung condition, USMagazine.com reported.
"Mariska Hargitay went to the hospital this morning after experiencing some discomfort relating to her earlier lung condition," her rep told Usmagazine.com. "She is undergoing routine tests and expects to be feeling better soon."
Hargitay, who was nominated for a Golden Globe this year for her portrayal of Detective Olivia Benson, has been suffering from a collapsed lung since December. This is the third time she has been hospitalized for complications relating to pneumothorax.
Her rep said Hargitay's condition should not affect the hit show's current production. Her previous health scares had temporarily stopped production.
Chris Meloni, who co-stars with Hargitay, said he expected the shooting of the current season to go ahead as planned with Hargitay appearing in all episodes.
"She got a little dinged up," he said. "And everyone just thought, 'better safe than sorry.'"
