Holiday Boat Parade of Lights: Make your way to Alexandria's harbor to see it light up with more than 50 lit sailing and powered leisure boats in the Potomac River at the Alexandria waterfront. Festivities, which include picture time with Santa, begin at 4 p.m. and there’s a parade at 6 p.m.

Handel Children’s Choir of Baltimore: If a cheap Saturday night is what you want, come to The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage. Enjoy a free show of classical, multicultural, folk, and contemporary music. The Choir performance begins at 6 p.m. and is located at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue, NW, and the Rock Creek Parkway.
