Despite reports to the contrary, Sharon Stone has not lost custody of her son, Roan, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
Although Sharon was dealing with a court matter regarding her son with ex-husband Phil Bronstein, it was not to fight to restore custody over the child, which she currently shares with Bronstein.

Sharon went to court for permission to have Roan enroll in school in Southern California where she lives, instead of Northern California, where Bronstein lives and where Roan currently attends school.
However, a judge rejected the actress’ request.

Stone and Bronstein married in 1998 and divorced in early 2004. Roan, 8, was adopted by the couple in 2000.
In October 2007, the couple agreed to joint legal and physical custody of the child.
In a minute order issued September 12, the court stated Bronstein “can provide a more structured continuity, stable, secure and consistent home.”

“Sharon Stone wanted to change an order, so she has the burden of proof,” TruTV legal expert Lisa Bloom explained to Access Hollywood on Tuesday. “She has to show a good reason for the change. The judge says she hasn’t done that, so the order is not going to change.”
The court’s order stated the agreement would be permanent, unless Stone moves back to San Francsico. However, Lisa Bloom suggested things will likely remain the same.
