Expect Rain, Rain and More Rain
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the Washington area—including Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park, starting at 6 a.m. Wednesday. Forecasters say a low pressure system is moving in overnight, bringing with it showers, thunderstorms and heavy rain. It’ll rain all day, they say, with two to three inches expected to fall by evening. A flood watch means the potential for flooding exists if the forecast holds up. Those living in flood-prone areas should prepare now, according to NWS. (InsideNoVa.com)

Police: Road Rage Led to Fatal Shooting
A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged Tuesday night with the first-degree murder of a motorist at a Severn traffic light earlier this month. County police said it appears road rage led to the Aug. 6 shooting of 40-year-old Calvin Chi Man Yeung, of Severn, at the intersection of Telegraph Road and Route 100. Detectives served an arrest warrant at James William King's home in the 800 block of Crest Hill Drive in Severn around 10:30 p.m., said Justin Mulcahy, a county police spokesman. (Hometown Annapolis)
