WASHINGTON — A bus drove into a storefront in Arlington Wednesday evening, sending three people to the hospital.
A driver crashed a bus into a row of shops in the 400 block of 12 Street South near Jefferson Davis Highway around 5 p.m. The bus driver was the only person on board at the time of the crash.
Emergency crews transported the driver and two pedestrians to an area hospital with minor injuries, Arlington Fire Department said.
The crash and investigation closed part of 12th Street South. Fire department crews are evaluating the building for structural damage and police are investigating the cause of the crash.
