- The British Prime Minister's wife rents designer clothing for special functions. Sarah Brown paid out of pocket to rent the Britt Lintner dress and Graeme Black jacket she wore to G-20 summit events last week when she met with first lady Michelle Obama. Renting clothes typically costs about 10 percent of the retail price of the item.
- Yellow Tail wine was the most popular imported wine in the U.S. but it appears Americans' taste for the Australian vino may have soured. With Yellow Tail's success came the generalization that all wines from Down Under were of the bottom-shelf, bargain bin variety and exports to the U.S. last year fell by 15 to 16 percent.
- It's not delivery it's... Twitter. Frozen pizza brand DiGiorno is launching its new flatbread pizzas using Twitter -- among other media -- and is offering free grub for tweetups. Following in the footsteps of Pizza Hut, Dominos and Papa John's the frozen pizza brand is trying to use social media to help increase sales.
- A woman who found a $357,959 cashier's check returned it to its rightful owner -- and then refused a reward. The woman reached out to a local TV station in Los Angeles to find the check recipient.
