Violence interruption work under review in DC

D.C.’s chief risk officer is reviewing contracts in the Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement and more closely in the Credible Messengers program, which hires people and neighborhood organizations to do therapy, mediation and peace brokering in areas prone to gun violence.
