Snow days in the D.C. area come with a lot of traditions, and our favorite is breaking out the Pat Collins Snow Stick.
While our dear, former reporter Pat Collins lives it up in retirement, we grabbed our Snow Stick to measure Monday's winter storm, which brought 6 to 10 inches of snow to the D.C. area.
We also awarded one snow stick to Karen Porter, who correctly guessed when the first inch of snow would fall at Reagan National Airport this year.
