A big, fat Greek festival is coming to Bethesda in May.
The St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Bethesda is holding its 2014 Spring Festival the weekend of May 2-4, where attendees can gorge on all the baklava, gyros and homemade Greek food they want.
The festival will feature art vendors, a marketplace, a flea market and live music, as well as a traditional dance performance by the Parathosi Dance Troupe.
Children can flock to the Kids' Corner with a moonbounce, games and cotton candy, while adults can indulge in samples of imported wine and beer.
The festival will be held from noon to 10 p.m. May 2 and May 3, and noon to 8 p.m. May 4. The church is offering free admission and parking for attendees.
