It’s a balmy 39 degrees in the Chesapeake Bay this Saturday, and the News4 team is heading into the water to get “freezing for a reason,” supporting Special Olympics Maryland.

On Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, jump in alongside us at the Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, Maryland. Thousands of brave people will plunge into the cold waters to raise money that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for people with intellectual disabilities.
