The Wizards' Devin Robinson was hospitalized and arrested after a fight with a Philadelphia Eagles player outside a D.C. nightclub, police say, and now the team says they won't extend him an offer for the next season.
Robinson got into an verbal argument with the Eagles' Jalen Mills early Saturday outside the Opera Lounge on I Street that escalated into a physical fight, police say.
Robinson was arrested taken to Sibley Memorial Hospital due to injuries from the fight, according to police documents. He is charged with disorderly affray, essentially a charge for public fighting.
Mills was taken to the Second District police station in Northwest D.C. and charged with disorderly affray, police documents say.
The Wizards won't extend a qualifying offer to Robinson for the 2019-2020 season due to the arrest, the team said in a statement.
"We are aware of the incident this morning involving Devin and are disappointed in his actions," a press release from the team said.
The Philadelphia Eagles said in a statement to local NBC station WCAU that they are looking into the altercation.

"The Philadelphia Eagles are aware of the situation involving defensive back Jalen Mills and are continuing to gather more information," the statement said.
It's unclear if either Mills or Robinson has a lawyer.
A hip injury knocked Robinson out of several games during the Wizards' last season, but he was able to come back for a few playoff games.
The Virginia native played for the Wizards and their associated G-League team, The Capital City Go-Go.
