Jessica Albert joined the News4 team as a general assignment reporter in October 2024. She is thrilled to be returning home to the DMV.
Jessica grew up in Northern Virginia. She graduated from Chantilly High School and studied journalism at James Madison University. She fell in love with TV news while interning at a TV station in college.
Through the course of her career, Jessica has made many stops, working at stations in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Florida. She most recently worked at WJZ in Baltimore. During her time there, she covered many major breaking news stories, including the collapse of the Key Bridge.
Jessica has always wanted to bring her career back to her hometown because most of her family still lives in the area. When sheβs not working, sheβs spending time with them or her husband. She also enjoys bingeing true crime shows, trying out new restaurants and holding herself accountable by taking spin classes at the gym.
