NBC4 was proud to present a special community forum on the mental health and wellness of youth and adolescents today at Montgomery College, as part of our yearlong "Changing Minds" initiative.
Today's forum was moderated by News4 anchor Jim Handly with help from News4's Molette Green.
Our forum was presented in partnership with Montgomery College, the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County and the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, behavioral management.
This event is part of our station's year-long "Changing Minds" initiative, which is designed to bring awareness to mental health issues, to chip away at stigma surrounding mental illness and highlight successful treatment.
