A U.S. Capitol police officer is in the hospital this morning after being hit by a car.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday along the 200 block of Massachusetts Avenue in Northeast D.C. Officials say the the officer was hit during a traffic stop.
Her condition has not been released, and no charges have been filed against the driver.
