Though power is restored to many Dupont Circle residents and businesses, dozens more are left in the dark until at least Wednesday afternoon, according to Pepco.
A feeder failure caused more than 6,100 Pepco customers to lose power Tuesday morning. Most customers had their power restored just after 11 p.m. though the power company warned dozens more could be left in the dark even longer.
Customers between R and S streets between 18th and Connecticut Avenue NW may have an extended outage until Wednesday night.
A warming center has been set up at the Raymond Recreation Center in the 3700 block of 10th Street NW.
